Siamese storz connections are simply a combination of a storz with a traditional threaded siamese (2-way) FDC. Generally mounted to the exterior wall of a building, siamese storz connections give fire fighters the option of attaching a large diameter hose with storz couplings or a smaller diameter fire hose with 2½" threaded couplings. The one clapper design will close off the non pressurized inlet while permitting flow from the pressurized inlet.
